Launch of the Open Data White Paper

On Thursday 28 June, Reform hosted the launch of the Cabinet Office's Open Data White Paper at PA Consulting in Victoria. 

The keynote speech was delivered by Rt Hon Francis Maude MP, Minister of State for the Cabinet Office, with responses from Ben Goldacre, Bad Science Columnist at the Guardian. Andrew Stott, Former Director of Digital Engagement at the Cabinet Office and Member of the Public Sector Transparency Board, and Tim Kelsey, Executive Directof of Transparency and Open Data at the Cabinet Office, also gave their thoughts. Antonio Acuna, Head of Data.gov.uk at the Cabinet Office, also gave a presentation on new features of the Government's data portal.
