'What’s next for the NHS: building a resilient healthcare system’
COVID-19 has tested the limits of healthcare systems around the world, and the challenges it has posed are not unique to the NHS. There have been successes, the swift introduction of data sharing guidance and building of NHS Nightingale hospitals to deal with the pandemic. However, the NHS has faced certain difficulties surrounding the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), shortage of ventilators, and potential shortage of critical care beds. In the coming weeks and months, many questions will be asked about the decisions taken during the height of the pandemic. Ultimately, decision-makers will need to look forward and use this pandemic to understand how the NHS can ‘bounce back’ and build a more resilient healthcare system in the future.
Reform is therefore delighted to announce our webinar, ‘What’s next for the NHS: building a resilient healthcare system’ as part of our Reformer series tackling the key questions of the pandemic.
